Delete your Adventure Cache account

You can delete your Adventure Cache account and the data connected to it at any time. Deletion is permanent and can't be undone.

Delete in the app

1. Open Adventure Cache and sign in with the account you want to delete.
2. Open the menu, then Settings.
3. Scroll to Delete Account, tap it, and type DELETE to confirm.

You need an internet connection. The app clears your account's data from that device right away.

Delete by email

If you can't sign in, or you no longer have the app, email support@bigbwain.com from the email address on your account with the subject "Adventure Cache account deletion". We may ask you to confirm the request before we delete anything.

What is deleted

• Your account, sign-in links, and profile (name, username, email, avatar, and cover).
• Everything you created or wrote: adventures, finds, caches (with their hints, items, and questions), collectables you hold, notes, comments, ratings, visits, and messages.
• Your settings, saved sessions, reports you filed, and your blocks of other people.

What is kept

• Finds and visits that other people logged stay theirs. They lose any link to your account, adventures, or caches.
• Collectables owned by other people stay with them, without your name in their history.

How long it takes

We delete your account and data within 7 days of your request. Backups are overwritten on a rolling schedule and expire within 7 more days.
